The patented ServoDrive™ variable drive system enables technicians to service rotors in half the time of other on-car lathes by providing variable speed and rotational torque during compensation and machining. Technicians can resurface rotors at the fastest possible speed and change speeds on the fly. The ServoDrive system allows service of rear locking differentials popular on light trucks and SUVs without the need to remove or disengage drive line components.

Heavy-duty trolley (available on the LT-Pro series) provides comfortable working height. Stable design makes attaching lathe to hub quick and simple.

Speed, Precision and Versatility

Provides an array of features to improve performance, increase speed of operation and expand the ability to handle a wide range of vehicle applications.

The unique design allows the operator to change the setup from rotors to drums and vice versa with unprecedented speed and ease. The lathe's mass of over 500 lbs. provides stability for the accurate machining of drums or rotors. All controls are located on the front of the lathe, eliminating the need to move to the rear for additional setup.

HunterPro brake lathe adaptor kits are available to customize the brake lathe to match the service profile of a shop. Four levels of adaptor kits cover the ability to service most rotors, drums and flywheels from passenger cars to one-ton trucks.

Modle 8944L The 8944L combines the world class design of the 8922L with infinitely adjustable rotor feed speeds and easily selectable arbor speeds for extreme versatility. Its positive rake tooling yields ‘one pass’ finish cut every time on drums, flywheels and all rotors including cross drilled and slotted.
Model 8989 With slower arbor speeds and expanded cutting dimensions the 8989 is designed for those shops performing passenger, light, medium AND heavy duty truck work.
